Our reception and waiting area is a comfortable, pleasant space. A dedicated children’s play area gives children plenty of room to spread out and have fun with the wide range of great toys and books available.
Our practice is fully computerised, allowing secure storage and rapid retrieval of your medical information. All your information is entered into our electronic medical software, producing a medical record that includes your general details, referral information, your eye examination, eye photographs, investigation results and any ancillary tests performed.

Our skilled orthoptists use a variety of vision tests on preverbal children, which includes a child-friendly computer-based vision testing system with test charts suitable for varying ages.
We have a range of equipment designed to assist the examination of young children, including hand-held slit lamps, portable tonometers and auto-refractors.

Glaucoma: Humphrey visual field analyser with the SWAP module for early detection and the Glaucoma Progression analysis module.
Cataract: Zeiss IOLMaster 700 to accurately calculate the IOL power for cataract surgery. Intended to reduce the risk of refractive surprises, this device provides highly repeatable and accurate lens thickness, anterior chamber depth, and corneal thickness measurements of the eye.
Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT): Zeiss CIRRUS™ HD-OCT 500 for the management of glaucoma and retinal disease, retina assessment for cataract surgery, and anterior segment imaging for corneal disease.
Retinal photography: Kowa non mydriatic α-DIII fundus camera takes high-quality retinal photographs without the need for pupil-dilating eye drops.
